The Queens-border belt — city energy meets suburban tradition.
Franklin Square is a hamlet of about 31,000 that grew from Hempstead Plains farmland into suburbia after World War II, with Hempstead Turnpike as its main street. Landmarks include the 1933 Art Deco Franklin Square Movie Theater, a designated Town landmark, and the former Franklin National Bank building, listed on the National Register. It is also home to Plattduetsche Park, a German restaurant and biergarten with deep community roots.
That's the backdrop for the moments we film here. We follow you — and only you — from the moment we arrive until the last song plays, posting stories in real time and delivering every raw clip within 24 hours, so your Franklin Square celebration is on your feed while it's still fresh.
