Plandome is a small residential village on Manhasset Bay, incorporated in 1911 and home to the Plandome station on the LIRR's Port Washington Branch, whose ground floor also holds the post office. There are no commercial districts; instead the village centers on its Tudor-style Village Hall, a central Village Green and a waterfront park on the bay. It is the middle of the three Plandomes, with Plandome Manor to the north and Plandome Heights to the south.
