Glenwood Landing is a small hamlet of about 3,900 people on the east shore of Hempstead Harbor, between Glen Head, Sea Cliff and Roslyn Harbor. It is considered part of the greater Glen Cove area, and Glenwood Road connects it to the waterfront. Tappen Beach, with its town beach and marina on the harbor, is the local gathering spot.
